Overdraft Protection!

New Federal regulations effective 8/15/2010, require that you must have authorized HUD FCU to pay overdraft on your ATM and VISA Check Card transactions.

If you do not “Opt-in” to authorize us to pay to pay overdrafts for these types of transactions, they will be declined when sufficient funds are not available in your account.

We sent a mailing on the new Opt-in regulations, including the Courtesy Pay Opt-in Form for this overdraft service. Please return the completed form as soon as possible, so that your account is protected from overdrafts.

For example, if you are grocery shopping and you attempt to use your VISA Check Card after August 15th, and you don’t have sufficient funds in your account, your transaction will be declined.
