WE'RE RE-OPENING!

HUDFCU will re-open our doors to members on Monday, June 8, 2020, with both of our ATMs back in service, as well.  Please note that until further notice, our branch hours will be Monday - Thursday from 10 am - 3 pm for teller transactions with all loan requests during that time by appointment only. Please call us at 1-800-345-8032 with questions or to make arrangements.

We want to remind our members that social distancing practices are still in effect, so we have adopted specific guidelines for coming into the branch. They are as follows:

  • Face masks are required for everyone, both staff and members.
  • Physical distancing will be practiced by markers placed on the floor.
  • Only 2 members will be allowed in the branch at one time.
  • All other members are asked to wait in line in the hallway at locations marked with cones.

Please be mindful that these guidelines are subject to change at any time. Thank you for your help and cooperation in this matter.

EFFECTIVE MONDAY, APRIL 20, 2020:

We have discontinued holding office hours in our administrative office in L’Enfant Plaza for the time being. All of our staff are now working remotely on a full-time basis. Unfortunately, this change will cause delays in our processing of mailed-in deposits and loan payments. We will also not be able to process Visa cash advance transactions at this time.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope you will find one of the following options a satisfactory alternative:

  • ATMs for cash and deposits
  • Shared Branches for all banking transactions, including check cashing, deposits, loan payments, and cashier’s checks
  • HUDFCU Online Banking for balance transfers and loan payments

Please email us at admin@hudfcu.org if you need a debit/ATM or credit card, assistance with Online Banking or a password reset, or to request information regarding our COVID-19 hardship assistance program. You can also call us at 1-800-345-8032 to leave a message

Thank you for your understanding during these difficult times.

EFFECTIVE MONDAY, MARCH 16, 2020:

The health and safety of HUDFCU members and employees is our top priority. As we continue to monitor the impact of the Coronavirus in our region, please be assured that we are taking preventative measures to mitigate the spread of illness and to ensure seamless access to your accounts.

We have decided to temporarily suspend lobby access at our HUDFCU branch location beginning Monday, March 23rd until further notice. Our branch, admin and member services teams will remain staffed and ready to assist members remotely. Staff will be available to answer phone calls between the hours of 10am and 2pm, Tues.-Thurs.

We strongly recommend leveraging all the available self-service banking and 24/7 account access made available to you via our online and telephone banking services. You can check balances, transfer funds, find ATMs and even make loan payments. If you are not enrolled in online banking or do not have access via an ATM or Debit Card, please contact us during the hours above. You can reach us by phone at 1-800-345-8032 or email at admin@hudfcu.org. If you would like to mail in a payment or deposit, send it to P.O. Box 23273, Washington, D.C. 20026

While it's impossible to predict the spread of the coronavirus and understand its true impact, please know that we will continue to closely monitor the situation and evaluate additional measures to support our members as the need arises.
